normal service will resume around the time Jack weans himself off breast feeding! ( but i do feel smug that he does feed as we were told he wouldnt be able to, pah!)

Well, its by my dates its 5 weeks till Jack arrives, by the scan dates its 3 weeks so lets split the difference and say 4! I'm big and round, have terrible heartburn and piles but apart from that I'm quite enjoying the pregancy! I've been tested twice for gestational diabetes but comes back negative. We know Jack has duodenal atresia and will have an operation at a bigger hospital about 30 miles from where we live on day 1 or 2.

Jon and I are living together, the move was stressful, I had polyhydramnious, too much fluid so was swollen and uncomfortable and moving house really wasnt the best thing for me! So glad its done and we are here. the kids and animals settled far better than we ever expected and we are really enjoying this time together, just waiting for it all to become even better when Jack-Jack arrives!

I know, I'm sorry, I havnt posted in so long, we're all ok sort of. Jack will be here soon and I promise I will catch up x

After two weeks of being told that our baby wouldnt survive pregnancy, birth or much beyond birth we finally have a diagnosis.

And although many wouldnt rejoice, we are so happy, our baby boy Jack will be born in September and he 'only' has Downs syndrome.

Mmmmm, this blog might change into a different kind of blog...
